  • Healing Art Therapy Synchronized Swedish Massage

    Synchronized movements are used between two therapists during the session. Essential oils will be incorporated into the massage to restore balance. Swedish massage encourages relaxation, circulation and flexibility. During the session, different strokes will be used such as gliding strokes, petrissage and vibration.

     

  • Hot Stones

    Combining hot stone protocols with a full body massage provides a very healing and effective experience. The hot stones expand the blood vessels, which encourages blood flow throughout the body. The hot stones have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation. The stones are an extension of the hands during the massage.

  • Champissage (Indian Head Massage)

    Champissage (also known as Indian head massage) is an alternative medicine and noninvasive massage. The head, neck and face are massaged with the purpose of manipulating energy channels. The goal is to clear blocks in these energy channels that cause a build-up of negative energy, which is purported to cause ailments. The belief is that when the energy does not flow properly, negative energy builds up, causing common ailments, including stress, nociceptive or non-nociceptive pain, aches, baldness or hair loss.

  • Chakra Balancing

    Chakra balancing is a holistic treatment that restores the energy throughout the body. There are seven main chakras that are supposed to be in balance between the body, mind and spirit.

  • Shirodhara

    Shirodhara involves gently pouring liquids over the forehead and can be one of the steps involved in panchakarma.  This treatment calms the nervous system. Shirodhara brings a profound stillness to the mind, which induces a meditative state.

  • Deep Tissue

    Deep tissue massage helps release chronic muscle tension. The use of hot packs and different strokes during the session such as gliding strokes, kneading, cross-fiber friction, percussion and stretching will help release areas of stress and imbalance.

  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage Post Surgery

    MLD is recommended as soon as 24 hours following surgery. It helps reduce edema, swelling and pain. It also aids in wound healing, detoxifies the tissues, stimulates circulation, helps to prevent post-surgical infections, improves skin regeneration and optimizes the scarring process. MLD is a gentle massage that will be done according to your needs.

  • Pregnancy massage

    The massage is recommended to healthy clients with a low-risk pregnancy complication. There are multiple positive effects such as decreasing lower back and leg pain, reducing insomnia and headaches, helping to control blood pressure and strengthening the immune system.
