LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE POST SURGERY

Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage aiming to drain the lymph fluid from the tissues. This type of massage helps treat edema after a plastic surgery. Manual lymphatic drainage can help reduce inflammation, speed healing, and diminish scar tissue. The course includes anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology of the lymphatic system, indications and contraindications of the treatment.

Definition of tummy tuck, BBL, lipo 360, smart lipo and breast surgery

Hands-on is included in the course (torso and extremities).

Additionally, the therapist will get a lecture related to the lymphatic system with a test.
